Sturdi-Wall® anchor brackets are your fastest and most-durable connection for building post-frame structures on concrete foundations. As the industry's No. 1-selling brand, they are available in drill-set and wet-set models for connecting post-frame structures to monolithic slabs, formed walls, and existing concrete pads. They are suitable for new construction, post repair, renovations, and more. For applications where the foundation is already poured and cured, use Sturdi-Wall® drill-set anchor brackets. For installation when the concrete is being poured, use Sturdi-Wall® Plus brackets.
The Sturdi-Wall® drill set model is designed and engineered for applications in which the concrete foundation has already been poured and cured. Install exactly where you need it, reducing costly placement errors when a concrete subcontractor is used.
Providing the highest ultimate-strength connection to your foundation, Sturdi-Wall® Plus anchors are installed while concrete is still wet. Robotically welded rebar eliminates the need for drilling and securing with concrete fasteners.
Work with confidence with the only post-frame anchor bracket system that meets international building standards. The International Code Council Evaluation Service evaluated Sturdi-Wall® and Sturdi-Wall® Plus and certified they are compliant with the 2018 and 2015 International Building Code (IBC)® and the 2018 and 2015 International Residential Code (IRC)®. This recognition means:
Sturdi-Wall® anchor brackets are constructed of American-made 1/4-inch steel, robotically welded, and finished with a durable powder coating. Sturdi-Wall® Plus features special-grade 1/4-inch or 5/8-inch rebar that is seismic-rated. Both post-frame anchor bracket systems feature the EpoxZi Shield coat that exceeds 2,500 salt-spray hours, preventing corrosion, resisting UV damage, and providing a professional look.
All that’s needed to install the Sturdi-Wall® anchor system is a hammer drill with masonry bit and concrete fasteners. Epoxy anchors and expansion anchors also can be used but must be purchased through a local supplier.
Because the Sturdi-Wall® Plus anchor system requires less concrete coverage than Sturdi-Wall® anchors, they are ideal for pier foundations and stem walls.
The hardware and accessories needed to install both Sturdi-Wall® and Sturdi-Wall® Plus anchor brackets can be purchased individually or in kits.
ICC-certification for the entire line of Perma-Column® products enables quicker permitting and approvals for post-frame, pole-barn and deck-building projects.
